Beginner Ice Skating and Ice Hockey Course (10 sessions)

The Beginner Ice Skating and Ice Hockey Course is perfect for those who are interested in learning how to skate and play ice hockey. The course is divided into two parts. The first five lessons are focused on learning the proper ice hockey skating form and techniques through the Beginner Ice Skating class. During these lessons, coaches will teach participants how to keep balance, recover from falls, and stop safely on the ice. Participants will also learn how to skate forwards, turn, and skate backwards. The last five lessons are dedicated to teaching participants the basics of ice hockey through the Beginner Ice Hockey class. Participants will learn fundamental ice hockey skating techniques, including passing, shooting, and stickhandling. As they improve their skills, they will develop a solid foundation in the sport, which will boost their confidence and enable them to progress to more advanced techniques and classes. Participants can choose to join the full course or attend only ice skating or ice hockey classes. By the end of the course, they will have acquired the necessary skills and confidence to skate on their own and have a solid foundation to play ice hockey. The Beginner Ice Skating and Ice Hockey Course will take place at LOHAS Rink, located at 1 Lohas Park Rd, 206-210, 2nd Floor, LOHAS Park. This rink is one of the newest in Hong Kong and has been built specifically for playing ice hockey. Accessing the rink is easy, as it is conveniently located near the MTR and Bus.
