Alexandra Choa Tan is Director of FR[A]MED, a coaching platform offering 1 on 1 coaching services and team coaching workshops for creative professionals and institutions looking to elevate their careers and/or businesses. She is an Executive Coach, a Producer and an independent curator.
Alexandra studied Art History at University College London (UCL), specialising in eighteenth century print culture, politics of aesthetic and film. After UCL, Alexandra graduated from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, with an MFA in Creative Producing. She worked for many years as a project manager and coordinator of exhibitions at various Galleries such as Rossi & Rossi as well as Sotheby’s in Hong Kong, where she gained considerable experience in project management, marketing, attributing, and producing art exhibitions and auctions.
Alexandra also spent 6 years spearheading the Young Friends of Museum of Art group for the Friends of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Museum. Her deep knowledge and passion extends from the emergence of popular culture in the eighteenth century to the current day and the sociological effects of digital culture on everyday life.
In addition to exhibition production, she has assisted in project managing some of Hong Kong’s leading public art exhibitions such as Anthony Gormley’s Event Horizons with the British Council and the Hong Kong Sculpture Park in 2018 with Art Partners. Alexandra most recently was invited to participate in the NYU Steinhardt and Deusto Business School - International Leadership in Visual Arts Management course as a Scholar. Alexandra speaks Cantonese and English.
