The classes will connect kids to books, food, garden and language and literacy. A story will be shared and read in each Story Snack class and kids will recreate a dish from the story or create one inspired by it.
Build your child’s skills and confidence to prepare their own food safely and follow instructions/recipes in our kitchen, and so much more!! They will have a taste of other aspects of 𝙁𝙊𝙊𝘿 𝙇𝙄𝙏𝙀𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙔 and hopefully begin to understand the impact of our food choices on our health, community and the environment.
But that’s not all! While reading and cooking together, we will help kids grow their vocabulary, comprehension and oral expression, reading and even writing skills. How?! There are just so many opportunities in the kitchen.
